HBsAg, Anti-HCV And Anti HIV Seroprevalence of The Patients in Balıkesir Atatürk State Hospital

Objective:

The aim of this study was to investigate the rates of HBV, HCV, HIV and anti-HBs seroprevalance in the people those admitted to Balıkesir Atatürk State Hospital between January 2011 and December 2012, to contribute to the nationwide epidemiological data.

Materials and Methods:

Blood samples were analyzed with ELISA method (Triturus) and Chemiluminescent Microparticle Immunoassay method (Architect İ1000).

Results:

For HBsAg, 49406 samples were analyzed and 1372 (2.77%) of these samples, for Anti-HCV 45130 samples were analyzed and 134 (0.29%) of these samples, for antiHIV 1/2 42322 samples were analyzed and 2 (0.004%) of these samples, for Anti-HBs 10727 samples were analyzed and 4555 (42.46%) of these samples were positive.
